The CMA’s job is to co-ordinate switching efficiently and securely.

All suppliers, and Scottish Water, are members of the CMA.

If you decide to switch supplier, the CMA will administer the process on your behalf. It will liaise with both your current supplier and the one you are about to join.

The CMA also calculates the amounts that each supplier should pay to Scottish Water for its wholesale services.
